Love the creamy coleslaw you get at Nando’s? Now you can make it at home with this easy peasy Nando’s fakeaway version! This creamy coleslaw is utterly delicious and super simple to make.
Mix together the mayonnaise, yogurt, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Add the grated onion and stir well.
Add the cabbage and stir well.
Add the grated carrot and stir well.
Add the fresh parsley and stir well.
Ideally, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving (optional, but it helps the flavours mix and mingle, and the coleslaw tastes even better!)
Notes
Nando’s coleslaw is quite tangy, hence why I have used 2 tablespoons of vinegar. But if you prefer a less tangy flavour, I recommend only using 1 tablespoons of vinegar.
Definitely grate the onion – don’t chop it. Grating the onion makes ALL the difference!
Not suitable for freezing.
